• Contributing to the strategic development of the work of the applicant organisation, its members and networks on subjects relevant to the thematic priorities for EYF funding.
• Building capacities and knowledge hubs in youth organisations on subjects of relevance to the thematic priorities for EYF funding, for example through the development and use of new tools, manuals, research, policy outputs.
• Fostering long-term strategic partnerships and cross-borders co-operation between young people and youth organisations, on subjects of relevance to the thematic priorities for EYF funding.
• Equipping young people with knowledge and skills on subjects of relevance to the thematic priorities for EYF funding.
• Reaching out to young people at all levels through multiplier actions of educational, awareness-raising, co-operation or advocacy nature, on the thematic priorities of the EYF

1. be registered in the granting system of the European Youth Foundation as an international non governmental youth organisation, or an international network of non-governmental youth organisations;
2. have a bank account that can accept euros;
3. have sufficient financial capacity (stable and sufficient sources of funding) to maintain its activity throughout the period for which the grant is awarded and to participate by way of its own resources (including human resources or in-kind contributions);
4. have sufficient operational and professional capacity, including staff and volunteers, to carry out activities described in its project proposal
