Call for applications for cross-border regions

IMPACT (Interreg Mechanism for Promoting Active Communities and Territories)

1. To support up to 30 pilot cross-border regions to establish or strengthen governance partnerships and adopt joint CLLD strategies; and
2. To generate long-term interest by Interreg programmes in supporting community-led cross-border development, including financially.

• Regional and local authorities;
• Non-governmental organisations/civil society organisations;
• Local Action Groups (LAGs), Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs);
• Tourism offices;
• European Groupings of Territorial Co-operation (EGTCs), Euroregions or other cross-border cooperation structures

The call is not open to individual persons, nor to national government bodies. Such actors may, however, be involved as partners or stakeholders within an eligible application, for example as part of the wider cross-border partnership
