The purpose of this Open Call is to identify and support high-quality cultural and artistic projects that contribute to the implementation of the official programme of Skopje – European Capital of Culture 2028

• public cultural institutions;
• national institutions in the field of culture;
• local public institutions;
• municipalities and public entities responsible for cultural activities;
• museums;
• galleries;
• libraries;
• archives;
• theatres;
• orchestras;
• cultural centres;
• all state and private educational institutions;
• research institutes active in culture or the creative industries;
• civil society organisations;
• foundations;
• associations;
• non-governmental organisations;
• creative hubs;
• artistic collectives;
• professional associations;
• creative enterprises;
• micro, small and medium-sized enterprises active within the cultural and creative sectors;
• productions
• self-employed artists;
• individual cultural professionals;
• other legally established organisations or individuals from outside Europe provided that they have legal residence in a European country, including the countries of the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) and Outermost Regions (ORs), and that their artistic or professional activities are directly relevant to the objectives of the Call, promote cultural cooperation, or contribute to one or more of the thematic strands of Skopje – European Capital of Culture 2028.

In cases where a project proposal is submitted by a partnership, the partnership must include at least one partner legally established in the Republic of North Macedonia
