The Civic Resource Centre presented the call for selection of regional experts from civil society at five information sessions in Bitola, Strumica, Veles, Kumanovo and Struga in the period from 13 to 22 March, 2024. At these information sessions, the attendees were informed about the conditions of the call and had the opportunity to ask questions to clarify the call.
The Civic Resource Centre team emphasised that the purpose of this call is to select regional experts from civil society who will be antennas of the resource centres in different regions and will serve as contact points for providing resources and supporting local organisations. These resource centre antennas will provide guidance, resources, training and mentoring to improve the capacities of CSOs in the respective regions and beyond. They should encourage collaboration and networking between organisations as well as with other stakeholders.
In addition to the objective, the tasks and responsibilities expected to be fulfilled by the selected experts, as well as the necessary qualifications and experience of the candidates, were also explained in details.
The most frequently asked questions at these information sessions were related to the duration of the work engagement, as well as the way in which the experts would be engaged. There were also questions related to the compensation that the selected candidates would receive, as well as the selection procedure.
The application deadline is 29th March 2024, and applications should be submitted to info@rcgo.mk.
