Events and debates

The Civil Society Resource Centre organises consultations, debates, conferences, information sessions and other events in order to facilitate for CSOs and other relevant stakeholders to debate, discuss, raise initiatives or to be informed about issues important for CSOs’ operation. The events’ topics are identified based on the questions raised to the help-desk, current issues in the civil society environment, findings from legislation analyses as well as other indications or suggestions for needed discussion topics. The events may be organised as debates on specific issues or informative and advisory seminars about important questions such as significant changes in the tax frame for CSOs, as well as events on global initiatives such as Open Government Partnership or global standards for CSOs’ accountability, sharing news and opportunities for EU support etc. These events are often with wider ranges of participants and provide great opportunity for sharing experiences learning as well as networking and partnership building.
