Members of the association Prizma – Center for Social Research and Development were trained in project cycle management and access to funds. The workshop was held on 3-4th October 2019 in the premises of the mentoring organisation Forum – Center for Strategic Research and Documentation, under the partnership grant received from the Civil Society Resource Centre.
“The experiences shared by the mentor Sladjan Penev on the challenges CSF Forum has encountered during its long years of work in the civil society sector were of particular importance” said Vlado Anchev, project coordinator. He added that in addition to the recommendations for project implementation and access to donors, the experiences shared on how a CSO should function in a broader sense were also useful.
During the first day of the workshop all segments of the project implementation process were presented and discussed. The second day was devoted to the topic “access to funds”, with a special emphasis on the ongoing open calls to which Prizma could apply. In addition to the recommendations for preparing project application, a specific outcome of the workshop was the preparation of two project concept notes, which Prizma will further develop and apply on some of the open calls in the coming period.
CSRD Prizma – Center for Social Research and Development implements the project “Monitoring of budget processes in the municipality of Gjorce Petrov” in partnership with the mentoring organisation Forum – Center for Strategic Research and Documentation, awarded under the EU-funded program “National Civil Society Resource Centre”.
