In our continued efforts to strengthen and support civil society organisations (CSOs) in their advocacy actions, we present to you the Tool for Promoting and Supporting CSOs’ Advocacy Initiatives.
The success of actions taken by individuals, groups and organisations in support of certain causes, ideals or policies – whether to drive change, improve community conditions, promote causes or raise public awareness - largely depends on the visibility of the issues and the level of support they receive.
This online tool is based on the Methodology for promotion and monitoring of advocacy initiatives and activities implemented by CSOs, which in synergy with the CRC Platform for CSO support, will, among other things, aim to contribute to increasing the visibility and dissemination of information about CSOs’ initiatives, as well as encouraging organisations to join forces with other groups and/or organisations that have the same common goal.
Organisations can use this online tool to promote their advocacy initiatives, to attract public attention, to raise awareness of the importance of the issue they are advocating for, and to ensure wide participation in achieving the positive social changes they want to make.
The information that is filled out is publicly available on the Civic Resource Centre website.
