On 16 May 2025 in Radoviš a training on youth activism and participation was held, within the project "Regional Youth Parliament". The event brought together young activists, representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs) and youth officers, who together discussed youth policies, challenges for participation and opportunities for change.
Through interactive sessions and group work, participants had the opportunity to learn about the mission and concept of the project, as well as ways to actively engage in the planned activities. An important aspect of the training was networking with various stakeholders, which contributed to better cooperation between young people, institutions and the civil society sector.

Within the framework of the training, an important discussion was opened on the low youth participation, where the participants jointly thought about concrete solutions that would motivate young people to become active.
"We discussed together the reasons for youth non-participation, and what we need to change in order to have motivated young people, who will turn their ideas into local initiatives, organizations that have the capacity and resources to work with young people and to have open institutions in which young people will have trust. I think the training was excellent because it was useful, comprehensive, fun and met my expectations" - said Dejan Andov, president of the "Justin Defenders" association - Radoviš

The training was useful, interactive and inspiring, and the young participants brought back new friendships and hope. The expectations are that through this initiative, better conditions will be provided for young people, which will be realized through the establishment of local youth councils, which will enable structured participation of young people in decision-making and the opening of youth centers, as a space for development, networking and new initiatives.
This training takes a concrete step towards strengthening youth activism, encouraging innovative and sustainable solutions that will enable young people to shape their future and create lasting values.
The project "Regional Youth Parliament" aims to create a platform and trainings for networking and uniting young people from the Southeast region and to provide them with a space for voice, ideas and activism, and thus strengthen communication between young people and local authorities for the implementation of youth initiatives.
The project "Regional Youth Parliament" is implemented by the Association of Civic Creative Center "Krea" - Radoviš in partnership with CELOR - Center for Local Development from Radoviš. This project is a sub-grant received within the project "EU Support for the Civic Resource Centre - Phase 2" funded by the European Union.
