The Civil Society Resource Centre is pleased to invite you to the online event “Personal Data Protection – Right of Every Citizen” which will be held on 26th August 2020 on the ZOOM platform.
Freek Janmaat, EU Delegation, will address on the topic from the EU perspective and experiences. Natasha Gaber Damjanovska, Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors, and Biljana Volceska, Agency for Personal Data Protection, will speak about the importance of personal data protection, the novelties in the Law on Personal Data Protection and the inclusion of the EU General Data Protection Regulation in this Law. Croatian experiences in this area will be shared by Stanko Cerin, Croatian Association for Personal Data.
The discussion will raise awareness among the civil society organisations, those responsible for control and data processing, as well as the general public about the importance of personal data protection in everyday life. Dimitar Gjeorgjievski, “Privacy” Skopje, Elena Stojanovska, Metamorphosis, and Arben Gudaci, Macedonian Association of Young Lawyers, will focus on the CSO’s role in this process.
