On September 15, 2025, the final event of the project "The Voice of Rural Women" was held, which was implemented by the Association of Women Farmers Moja Farma from Gostivar in partnership with the Institute for Education, Strategic Research and Analysis Rural TINK from Kicevo. The event was attended by members, volunteers and representatives of civil society organisations from Gostivar, Kicevo and Kavadarci. The event was an opportunity to exchange practices and ideas, but also to highlight the role of rural women in creating a more equal and just society.

Rankica Bozinoska from Moja Farma presented the results of the gender analysis of the annual work programs of the municipalities of Gostivar and Kicevo. She also spoke about the civic initiatives of rural women, which emerged from local gender forums, as well as the positive practices shared during the study visit to Kavadarci. Marija Kamcheva, coordinator of the Commission for Equal Opportunities in the municipality of Kavadarci, shared positive experiences from the Commission's cooperation with civil society associations. Blagica Koceva Todorova, president of the association Vision from Kavadarci, highlighted the work of their organisation and presented their most significant achievement – the Regional Counseling Centre for Women Victims of Domestic Violence, active since 2022.

“The project allowed us to see to what extent the specific needs of men and women are identified in the planning of the municipalities of Kicevo and Gostivar and to see whether the needs of all citizens are defined in local policies and work programs. For the first time, both organisations worked on such an analysis, so we had the opportunity to learn more about the analysis tools, about the work of the municipalities, and through field work and gender forums, we also saw the real needs of women from rural areas,” said Liljana Jonoska, president of the Rural Coalition. At the closing event, she shared some of her long-standing experience in promoting gender equality, emphasizing that every dedicated work yields results.

“The Voice of Women from Rural Areas” is a project implemented by the Association of Women Farmers Moja Farma Gostivar, in partnership with the Institute for Education, Strategic Research and Analysis – Rural Think, Kicevo.
