In the period June – November 2019, the association “Nov most” from Prilep was in the process of strengthening the organisation’s capacities. Their mentoring organisation, Peace Action, assessed the capabilities of Nov most under the grant awarded by the Civil Society Resource Centre.
According to the estimation, the association Nov most is still at birth stage. After identifying the main development areas, the two organisations prepared a mentoring plan and conducted three of the six planned trainings.
As a result of these three trainings, the internal documents of the organisation have been reviewed so far, and the organisation’s statute, objectives, values, mission and vision have been revised. In addition, members began discussions on forming an organisational structure, and they also gained new skills in financial administration in a CSO.
In the following period until February 2020, it is foreseen to implement the remaining trainings on strategic planning; writing project proposals and project cycle; as well as developing a communication and visibility plan.
The association Nov most, Prilep implements the project “From Grassroots to Solid Branch” in partnership with the mentoring organisation Peace Action, funded under the program “National Resource Centre for Civil Society Organisations”. The program is implemented by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) from Gostivar and Media Plus from Stip, and is funded by the EU.
