Fourteen CSOs received the basics for their communication strategies during the Training on Communication and Visibility of CSOs organised by the Civil Society Resource Centre in Veles on 26-27 February.
The participants made their SWOT analyses and set the communication goals they want to achieve. They developed messages for each of their target groups and identified the channels they would use to reach them. Finally, they focused on creative thinking and brainstorming.
Through the interactive training, they gained useful information related to web writing, online communities, social media and new tools that are not currently very widespread but are quite useful.
Upon completion of the training, many responded that they would apply what they had learned and complete the initiated communication strategies. For the participants, one of the most useful segments of the training was the session in which the trainer reviewed and gave feedback to each organisation in order to improve their communications and visibility.
The training is part of the Capacity Building Programme under the Civil Society Resource Centre, EU-funded project implemented by Macedonian Center for International Cooperation in partnership with Media Plus, Stip and Association for Democratic Initiatives – ADI, Gostivar.
